Teal Flowers & Lace


This wedding cake is made with sheet cakes, squares & a round not the typical wedding style but it worked out nicely. The bottom 2 are 11×15″ sheet cakes, the next a 2 layer 8″ square and the top one, a single 6″ round. All are classic yellow cake iced in vanilla buttercream. Teal flowers are buttercream, the tiny white ones are fondant. A ruffle drape and cornelli lace complete the design.


Sea Shell Wedding Cake

IMG_2698¬†7″ & 12″ yellow cake with raspberry butter cream filling, iced in vanilla butter cream. Shells I made from white chocolate. Brown sugar is used for the sand. Chairs and fencing were provided by customer.


Square Wedding Cake for Anna and Thomas

off-set square cakeI have always liked the off-set design of a square wedding cake. Stacking the tiers in this manner gives it a little different look. Having the corners exposed leaves lots of room for flowers or other decorations. This 4 tier yellow butter cake is decorated in Vanilla butter cream with dots and has 3 different butter cream filling, Mocha, Chocolate fudge, and Vanilla.

This was for a small wedding on the beach and I thought seashells were perfect for this cake. The bride wanted the color purple somewhere on her cake so I tinted some of the shells and added other colors for contrast. Cake flavor, classic yellow cake with vanilla butter cream and white chocolate shells.

Pink wedding cakeA classic yellow butter cake (6″ & 10″), iced in vanilla butter cream with a pleated design. Bead border and pink butter cream Mums. The small flowers are fondant.

2 doz. Cupcakes were added for extra servings..

Red Rose Wedding Cake

Red Rose Wedding Cake

Small wedding cake with 2 tiers. The top is a 7″ chocolate cake, bottom tier a 14″ yellow butter cake, frosting is vanilla butter cream. The red roses are butter cream, the W monogram is fondant.

NOTE:  sheet cakes or cupcakes could be added for additional servings.
