This wedding cake is made with sheet cakes, squares & a round not the typical wedding style but it worked out nicely. The bottom 2 are 11×15″ sheet cakes, the next a 2 layer 8″ square and the top one, a single 6″ round. All are classic yellow cake iced in vanilla buttercream. Teal flowers are buttercream, the tiny white ones are fondant. A ruffle drape and cornelli lace complete the design.
7″ & 12″ yellow cake with raspberry butter cream filling, iced in vanilla butter cream. Shells I made from white chocolate. Brown sugar is used for the sand. Chairs and fencing were provided by customer.
I have always liked the off-set design of a square wedding cake. Stacking the tiers in this manner gives it a little different look. Having the corners exposed leaves lots of room for flowers or other decorations. This 4 tier yellow butter cake is decorated in Vanilla butter cream with dots and has 3 different butter cream filling, Mocha, Chocolate fudge, and Vanilla.
This was for a small wedding on the beach and I thought seashells were perfect for this cake. The bride wanted the color purple somewhere on her cake so I tinted some of the shells and added other colors for contrast. Cake flavor, classic yellow cake with vanilla butter cream and white chocolate shells.

This cake was made for a couple that was having a small wedding and reception. About 40 people. The flavor for the cupcakes and wedding cake was yellow butter cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. The handmade white roses were butter cream.
This square 3 tier (6″-8″-12″) off set cake gives the appearance of being much larger than it really is. The silver stand gives it height and the corners of the cake are great for flowers. Using pine, magnolia leaves and red berries with just a few red and white flowers gives you that Christmas look. Topped with a fondant bow. A small extra tier for them to save with their cake ornament is placed to the side.
