Buttercream Flower Cascade
Another small 2 tier that would be perfect for a wedding that needed about 25 to 35 servings. All buttercream flowers with lace design.
Rose Cake with Pull Charms
I made this cake for a bridesmaid luncheon but it would make a lovely small wedding cake with or without charms. Cake flavor, yellow butter cake with chocolate buttercream. Pink buttercream roses and cornelli lace design with a ruffle drape. 10″ + a single 6″ on top. The charms are tied to ribbon and inserted under roses.
Red Rose Cake
I made this cake for a birthday party but the design would be beautiful for a wedding cake also. The random black stripes around the cake makes it a simple design to work with, not to precise they can go in any direction. The red roses could be replaced with another color choice. Cake flavor, classic yellow cake with vanilla butter cream and butter cream roses.
Sea Shell Wedding Cake
7″ & 12″ yellow cake with raspberry butter cream filling, iced in vanilla butter cream. Shells I made from white chocolate. Brown sugar is used for the sand. Chairs and fencing were provided by customer.
Buttercream Ruffles Wedding Cake
6″-8″- 10″ yellow butter cake with vanilla buttercream. Fresh flowers provided by King & Hollyfield Florist, Southern Pines NC.
Multi Design Wedding Cake
It’s fun to create a wedding cake with different designs. I made a drawing for the bride with lots of ideas and she liked these designs best. On the top I have dots, then a horizontal wavy line, a Cornelia lace design, and at the bottom stripes & dots. Flavors are a classic yellow butter cake iced in Vanilla butter cream. Fresh roses are added for the topper.
Fall Wedding Cake
This is a cake I did several years ago for a Fall wedding.
The bride had seen another cake I had done with this “string” design and thought It looked like bark on a tree and she loved it. The base/cake stand she wanted to use for the cake to give it a rustic look was a large slice of real wood so this design went well with it. Fresh fall flowers and greens were added for a finished look.
Seashell Wedding Cake
This was for a small wedding on the beach and I thought seashells were perfect for this cake. The bride wanted the color purple somewhere on her cake so I tinted some of the shells and added other colors for contrast. Cake flavor, classic yellow cake with vanilla butter cream and white chocolate shells.
